Invasive Plant Control & Removal
We use various mechanical methods to remove invasive plants. Our specific approach depends on the type and characteristics of the invasive plant species present. We do not use any herbicides. Key methods to our non-chemical approach include thorough removal of invasive plants, heavy smothering of impacted areas with materials such as heavy duty weed barrier fabrics, cardboard, and mulch, and then ongoing maintenance of the site for at least 1-2 years.
We offer ongoing management of invasive plants after removal, including yearly and multi-season visits to remove regrowth and repair smothered infestations. Ongoing maintenance is a key aspect of our non-chemical control methods. Additionally, we provide native plant re-planting services, which are strongly recommended at least one to two years following initial removal and subsequent management.
Management & Replanting
Poison Ivy Control & Removal
We manage poison ivy infestations using chemical-free methods like uprooting, smothering, and native replanting, similar to our invasive species control. Contact us today for control and removal services.
We provide native planting to restore sites post-invasive removal. To ensure control of regrowth, we recommend waiting one to two years or more before replanting. This improves success for site-specific wildflowers, grasses, and trees that enhance biodiversity, pollination, and erosion control.
Native Replanting
Native Meadow Installation
Transform your property with our native meadow installation services using high-quality seeds and nursery plants. We offer options for both shade and full sun to create pollinator-friendly, wildflower-rich spaces. This service enhances local ecosystems and is ideal following invasive plant removal.
Native Tree Delivery & Installation:
We offer local delivery and installation for native trees. Check our store and delivery policies tabs for availability and details. Native trees improve air quality, boost biodiversity, and counter invasive plants. Follow us for updates as this service expands.
